My Catholic faith, has always been an essential piece of my life. I attended Catholic elementary school and high school in Westchester. My Bachelor degree was completed at Marist College. Then after working for 5 years in Public Relations, I realized that I truly wanted to teach. At Dowling I earned my M.S. in Education in 2002. My first teaching position was the following fall
in a private school where I taught third grade. Prior to finding my home at St. Patrick School, I had worked for Smithtown CSD, Rocky Point CSD, Center Moriches CSD, and the Hewlett School in East Islip. My experience ranges from substitute teaching, to AIS teacher, to leave replacements, to third grade teacher.
In January 2007, I began working in Reading Resource/AIS at St. Patrick's school with Mrs. Martin. When I was asked to take over in room 203, I was excited to once again work with 3rd graders. I feel blessed to be part of such an amazing school. The students, parents, administration, aides, custodians and faculty are a wonderful group of people, who are truly dedicated to giving the children the best education possible, while keeping Christ central to all we do.
The greatest blessing of my life is my children, teaching is second only to them!
I believe God led me to my position at St. Patrick's and so I devote myself to doing the work He has in mind. Bringing joy to children while helping them develop emotionally, academically, and spiritually is something I treasure daily.
